Verbal Reasoning is a crucial part of the CATS test which is learning to understand and reason using concepts framed in words and will be studied during the second half of this workshop. Using the Planet mars theme this workshop will be fun, memorable and help the students gain confidence with their English skills.

Year 5 11+ Writing Workshop (ONLINE ONLY) – From the 1st of June – the 4th of June @ 09:00 – 09:40

Here at Kip, we have developed a writing technique that helps to make writing more manageable.  We find that lots of our children find it difficult to know where to start with their writing as they want to include all the literary elements they have learned.  Our writing technique makes writing more ‘formulaic’ so that the students can follow simple steps to ensure that their writing ‘ticks the boxes’ needed to get the highest marks that they can in their 11+ and other future exams. This workshop will be spread over 4 days on Zoom, giving the students a chance to absorb new techniques each day and gain more confidence with daily practice.
