We can’t wait to take your child on a journey around the world with our Home Education workshops launching this September at Kip McGrath Brentwood! Drawing inspiration from the BBC’s Race Around the World, our weekly sessions, led by qualified and experienced teachers, are set to be an exciting mix of creativity and fun! We will be offering a variety of therapeutic learning activities all centred on the theme of travelling and exploring different countries and cultures around the world. The fun interactive 2 hour workshop style adventure will involve some IT, drama, arts and crafts, language skills, timetables, money, recipes and stories and the list goes on as we draw on all the different skills your child will develop as they travel and explore  a new country every week. Our teachers will be flexible and adaptive to the children’s needs and interests and there will be a big emphasis on developing life skills and learning for fun. All sessions will be 2 hours and take place in our fully resourced centre in the heart of Shenfield.

Term Time Programme : 

  • The sessions are on Thursdays from 11:30-1:30
  • There will be a session for children age 5-7 ( KS1) age 8-11 ( KS2) and age 12-14 (KS3) this is a guideline only. If you feel your younger child would be better suited to the next group up or an older one to the group before then we are also flexible to accommodate that.
  • KS1 and KS2 will start on Thursday 12th Sept and KS3 in Oct (date tbc)
  • Costs are £250 for the 10 weeks. This can be made in 3 instalments of 3 weeks (£75) with a £25 initial payment upon booking to secure a space. If payment is made upfront for the 10 weeks there is a discount of £50 (upfront payment of £200).
  • Payments can be made via online booking, recurring card payment or can be paid with childcare vouchers and HMRC tax free childcare (We are Ofsted registered)
  • Each 10 week course is different.
  • The Home Education course is non-refundable during the block you paid for (3 weeks or 10 weeks).
  • The workshops do not run during half term but there are other fun activities we do during half term you can also sign up for.
  • A free 1 hour Maths and English assessment with a qualified teacher is available for your child if you wish to do it but is not mandatory for the course. (If you wish to book one, please add a note in the ‘Any additional comments’ box when checking out.)
