It has different timed sections of comprehension, verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning and non-verbal reasoning. The children also must manage how to use an answer booklet and fill it incorrectly to avoid losing marks. We have made our own CEM paper that the children will sit in this workshop. They will go through the paper, section by section, with guidance from our 11+ specialist teacher. We will then discuss each question and work on the quickest methods for finding the answers. Timing and exam strategy are key to acing this exam so it is a must-do for any girl hoping to go to Chelmsford County High School for Girls Grammar School.[/accordion_son][accordion_son title=”Year 5 11+ Writing Easter Workshop, Thursday 7th April, 12:30 – 15:30 – OUT OF STOCK – PLEASE CLICK BELOW TO BE ADDED TO WAITING LIST” clr=”#ffffff” bgclr=”#ff0000″]

Here at Kip, we have developed a writing technique that helps to make writing more manageable. We find lots of our children find it difficult to know where to start with their writing as they want to include all the literary elements they have learned. Our writing technique makes writing more ‘formulaic’ so that the students can follow simple steps to ensure that their writing ‘ticks the boxes’ needed to get the highest marks that they can in their 11+exam.

Easter 11+ Workshops

My children attended the Writing Workshop for years 4 and 5 in October and they absolutely loved it. The first thing my daughter said to me was that it was really fun and the time flew by. Both children have asked to go again next time you run them.
