9am-12pm Year 5 11+ Maths

It is vital to have a sound knowledge of Maths skills when doing the 11+ and this workshop will teach and build on the essential skills. Looking at a range of topics including bar charts, line graphs, pie, ratio, angles, time, volume and probability. Our expert 11+ tutor will teach these. The children will then apply the strategies by testing their reasoning and problem-solving with a fun activity! Fun, engaging and great motivation to learn and build confidence in those 11+ required skills!

“My son really enjoyed the maths workshop and learned a lot! It has also given him the confidence to try higher level questions.”

NEW !! Tuesday 11th April 1-4pm Year 5 11+ & Year 6 Writing

Due to many requests we have added another writing workshop.

Here at Kip, we have developed a writing technique that helps to make writing more manageable. We find lots of our children find it difficult to know where to start with their writing as they want to include all the literary elements they have learned. Our writing technique makes writing more ‘formulaic’ so that the students can follow simple steps to ensure that their writing ‘ticks the boxes’ needed to get the highest marks that they can in their 11+exam.

“My son (who hates writing) really enjoyed this workshop.  The teacher made it lots of fun and he enjoyed creating characters and writing stories about them and he produced so much work! Thank you!”
